Quality Manager - Process Assurance of Systems Development

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Quality Engineering Landing Gear and Fuel team at this company, located in Filton. The team was established in 2015 with the mission to drive the achievement of engineering quality for ATA32 (Landing Gear), ATA28 (Fuel) and ATA47 (Inerting) across the lifecycle, for all programmes/projects, in partnership with the Design Office and other stakeholders.

As the Quality Manager - Process Assurance of Systems Development, you will play a crucial role in managing and delivering the Process Assurance tasks and deliverables. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the planning of all Process Assurance activities by liaising with project managers and engineers.
- Liaising with the Design Office and other stakeholders to support the deployment of relevant processes.
- Reviewing and providing feedback on planning activities, including related documentation, to secure deployment of applicable processes for the system development.
- Performing detailed validation and verification quality checks across the lifecycle of the system development and documenting the results.
- Conducting detailed documentation quality checks for selected system development deliverables and documenting the findings.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a technical or engineering field.
- Proven experience in a similar quality assurance or process assurance role, preferably within the aerospace industry.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
