Maintenance Mechanical Engineer
Carbon60 is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to support the delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused maintenance service at the Leeds Location.
ROLE: Maintenance Mechanical Engineer
PAY RATE: £17.85 PAYE
CONTRACT TYPE: 3 Months Contract
LOCATION: Leeds
SHIFT PATTERN: 4 days on / 4 days off
THE ROLE:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the shift maintenance team
- Deliver a responsive, customer-focused maintenance service in a healthcare setting
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, testing, and inspections
- Ensure compliance with statutory, NHS, and company procedures
- Work a rotating shift pattern to provide 24/7 cover
- Maintain accurate records and complete service reports
- Support minor installation works and assist other trades
- Act as a Competent/Authorised Person when appointed
Systems Experience:
- Experience with heating, domestic water systems, AHUs, and electrical lighting and power.
- Knowledge of LV distribution, generators, fire alarms, emergency lighting, electrical control systems, and BMS.
Experience & Qualifications
- Time-served engineer with at least 3 years' post-apprenticeship experience
- Mechanical bias essential; cross-trade skills advantageous
- Healthcare experience desirable but not essential
