Role Overview:

Our client, a global leader in energy and telecom cable systems, is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Inspector to support inspection and testing activities focused on onshore high-voltage (HV) cables and monitoring system hardware. This ad hoc role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in HV cable systems and electrical monitoring technologies, looking to contribute to innovative infrastructure projects in a flexible capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and testing of onshore HV cable systems and associated hardware.
• Evaluate and verify the performance of monitoring system hardware used in cable installations.
• Review technical documentation, schematics, and test reports.
• Collaborate with engineering and site teams to identify and resolve electrical issues.
• Ensure compliance with client's quality standards and relevant safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience with onshore HV cables and electrical inspection.
• Technical knowledge of monitoring system hardware and its integration with HV systems.
• Familiarity with European electrical standards and safety protocols.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to an ad hoc schedule.
• Fluent in English; Italian language skills are a plus.

• This is a contract-based role with flexible scheduling.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in Italy and pass background checks.
