Facilities Manager - Facilities Management - Northampton - £52,860 inclusive of car allowance plus excellent benefits

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a National Facilities Management company working on prestigious clients' sites covering from Sheffield down to Rochester.

Salary: £52,860 inclusive of car allowance plus excellent benefits

Benefits to include: 25 Days Holiday + BH, Company Pension, Private Healthcare, Company Sick Pay, Flex Benefits scheme.

Hours of work: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Location: Northampton, Sheffield down to Rochester

Candidates based in either Northampton, Oxford or Milton Keynes would be ideal due to reporting office.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support the Contract Manager to co-ordinate service delivery across the whole of the scope of FM service delivery and advise senior management of any perceived risks and mitigation actions.
  • Responsibility for the Southern Region as principal role, ensuring the TFM model is effectively delivered across the estate. Deputising in absence for Contract Manager for the UK portfolio as and when required.
  • Build organisational capacity, responsible for the delivery of the service and maintenance of all assets under contract in the portfolio.
  • Operational management of internal and external service delivery teams, ensuring quality of services provided are continually improved and exceed customer expectations.
  • Responsible for efficiently and economically implementing the assigned tasks from commencement to completion in full compliance to applicable standards and specifications, within the given time frame, including monitoring and regular reporting of overall progress.
  • Evaluate data and operational performance stats on a monthly basis, ensuring a documented action plan is implemented for any out of line situations.

The successful candidate:

  • Relevant Further/Higher Education
  • Sound management and interpersonal skills to effectively provide leadership to the organisation and subordinate's staff.
  • Qualifications and/or membership of IWFM (Institute of Workplace Facilities Management)
  • Recognised Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH)
  • Experienced people manager. Have good leadership, team building and communication skills.
  • Good quality communication skill (both oral and written) and presentation skills, strong capability to effectively manage client and subordinate relationships.
  • Experienced at managing budgets.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English
